Avetik Alaverdyan was born in 1954, Yeghvard, Armenia.
He graduated from Yerevan State Art Institute (1981-1986) and Terlemezian Art College of Fine Arts (1972-1978).

Alaverdyan participated in many exhibitions in Germany, Lithuania, and Russia.

His works are currently in display in foreign exhibitions. 1987 – National Exhibition, Yerevan.
